DESCRIPTION
Unusual and rare syringe from Dr Scott with royal patent and manufactured by Bicknell & Co in the Strand, London.  Made from brass and steel it is beautifully embossed with the royal coat of arms and still has its original cork stopper.  Possibly for administering medicine and dating from some time in the second half of the 19th century.

CONDITION
It has certainly had a working life and has at least one very old repair. There are small dents and marks in numerous places but it is all original and has a beautiful patina - please look very closely at the pictures as they form part of the description.
