DESCRIPTION
This rare piece dates from the late 19th century and would have been mounted on a pub bar or tobacconist counter top.  Gas fueled; he would have had a continuous flame coming from his cigar and his basket would have likely been used to hold pipe lighters.

CONDITION
He is a particularly good example in very good condition with wear and some small dents and marks consistent with its age - please look very closely at the pictures as they form part of the description.
