DESCRIPTION
Discovered in the Cotswolds’ this quirky and fun picture is reverse painted on glass and consists of two images on top of each other. Originally made for a magic lantern the glass with the pig would have been moved to give the “floating” effect. Made in the 19th century the slides have been framed in ebonized wood and it has the words “O’RYANS FLOATING PIG” written on the back.

CONDITION
The glass has a few light scratches and the frame is cracked (but secure) however the images are in great condition and the colours remain vibrant. Please look very closely at the pictures as they form part of the description.
