DESCRIPTION
Impressive Nigerian carved wooden helmet mask with central crest and geometric sections painted in coloured pigments; 20th century. 
Comes with display stand but also sits well on its own. 
Provenance – From the Andrzej von Staranburg Niedenthal collection, London, UK.  Andrzej was an art collector and dealer; this piece comes from the sale of his estate.  Letter of provenance included.

WEIGHT – 1.0kg without stand.
 
CONDITION
There is a minor split to the back and some discolouration and wearing to the pigment - please look very closely at the pictures as they form part of the description.
