DESCRIPTION
Discovered in the Cotswold’s this impressive and unusual piece dates from around 1900. The beautiful nautilus shell sits on a silver plated mount in the form of a spread winged eagle and was made by Daniel & Arter, Birmingham.

CONDITION
There is a very small chip on the rim of the shell and some silver plate loss from the base. There is also a silver or silver plated disc behind one of the wings with the initials “W.F.S” which could be an old repair - please look very closely at the pictures as they form part of the description.
