DESCRIPTION
A fine quality morse code key by W. Groves of 89 Bolsover Street, London. Made from gilded steel with a Bakelite button and mounted on a varnished oak base complete with makers’ mark. Dates from the early 20th century.
Examples of W. Groves’ instruments are held in the Science Museum Group collection.

CONDITION
There is some corrosion to the steel, a chip and a little varnish loss to the base plus two screws missing from the plate – all of which are reflected in the price - please look very closely at the pictures as they form part of the description.
