DESCRIPTION
Made from plastic, wood, papier mache and hand-blown glass this large, hand painted model dates from the mid-20th century.  Designed as a teaching aid it is incredibly detailed and can be taken apart to show the working parts of the organ.  It was made by Somso Modelle, Germany; a company started in 1876 and still the foremost manufacturer of anatomical models today.

CONDITION
There is some minor wear to the paint in places and a couple of tiny chips but overall it is in very good and original condition and all pieces are present - please look very closely at the pictures as they form part of the description.
