DESCRIPTION
A mahogany cash block with three bowls dating from the late 19th century.
 
Cash blocks were used to hold money before the invention of the cash register and the bowls have been machined with large radii at the bottom to make it easy to retrieve coins.
 
DIMENSIONS – L:  21.5cm  W:  13cm  H:  7cm
 
CONDITION
It has wear and scratches consistent with its age and use plus a very old chip out of one side - please look very closely at the pictures as they form part of the description.
