DESCRIPTION

An early 17th century style (dated 1607) Rhenish stoneware bottle featuring embossed and painted coat of arms and indistinct signature to base.  Actually dating from the late 19th century and accompanied by two letters (from the mid 1970’s); one from the Victoria and Albert Museum London and one from The Rijksmuseum Amsterdam where a previous owner has requested information about the piece.  In addition is a ticket found inside the bottle which appears to be an admission ticket from the mid-20th century for a fine arts exhibition in the Hague, The Netherlands.

CONDITION

It is in excellent condition with no visible chips or cracks - please look very closely at the pictures as they form part of the description.
